These are hollow and made of sheet steel. I don't recall the thickness of the steel but I think it is probably 18g (1.2mm) or 20g (0.9mm). They are pretty solid. The D6 feels heavier so may be from a thicker sheet than the others. I made these dice for fun while I was learning welding several years ago.
They are unfinished. The D4 and D8 are completely bare steel with some minor surface rust from sitting on a shelf in a dry climate for a long time but will clean up with normal paint prep. The D6 has the dots indented - the was done prior to assembly if I remember right. The D6 is painted black - badly. So prep and paint these in the normal way for steel to your own preference.

Each die weighs about 1.5lbs (700g)
These are intended to be decorative and not for game play. They are not balanced or certified as dice for serious play. Be aware that due to the weight and material they are likely to damage any surface you roll them on, and will do a serious number on your flooring when they fall off the table. They will also go CLANG!
These are a one-off as my domicile is not zoned for commercial welding :-)
